To define the rules for data movement between applications efficiently, accurately and automatically in the SIF Specification.

What This Means: The SIF Association is the governing body that manages the SIF specification. It is a group of both vendors and end user organizations that define what data needs to be exchanged between different educational software applications and the process for that exchange.
